Who is Yahweh?A form of the Hebrew name of God used in the Bible. The name came to be regarded by Jews (circa 300 bc) as too sacred to be spoken, and the vowel sounds are uncertain.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Charles Spurgeon quote:"Discernment is not knowing the difference between right and wrong. It is knowing the difference between right and almost right.”
- Luke 1:30-33“But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”” […]

What is the greatest attack on the church today? That was the weighty question asked of the speakers at a recent conference. I promptly responded, “The greatest attack we are seeing today is on the exclusivity and purity of the Gospel.” The exclusivity of the Gospel declares all other faiths are false because no one can come to God except through the atoning death of Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). The exclusivity of the Gospel also humbles the pride of self-righteous people and calls them to repentance.
This is why many pastors are compromising the Gospel. They want to make it more inclusive in order to draw a larger following, gain more influence and be loved by more people. This man-pleasing gospel makes people comfortable in their sin but it has no power to save them. It has become popular because it exalts man and his importance and diminishes God and His significance. It also emphasizes God’s love while ignoring His holiness, justice and hatred of sin.
Tragically those who embrace this diluted gospel are woefully deceived…

Hope’s note: This is one of the best “teaching” sermons that I have ever heard.
Jerusalem’s Final Conflict and Deliverance is Nigh…Zech 12 pt 1
In view of last week’s UN Vote in which 151 nations voted that Israel , and of last weeks six UN anti Israel resolutions , on the day the UN designates “Palestinian day”, and in view of Today’s historic declaration by President Trump that Jerusalem is the Capitol of Jerualem,I thought it fitting to re-run this 2010 esxposition of Zechariah 12. Prophecy is being fulfilled this very day! Maranatha!
This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares: “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will…

Love and Obey
God’s love is actually expressed in law. The great principle of law is love. Therefore the principle of the gospel itself is expressed in Deuteronomy.
…God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son… (John 3:16)
You and I express our love for God in our obedience. The Lord Jesus put it like this:
If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)
This is still the acid test today. If we love Him, we will keep His commandments. Salvation is a love affair.
We love him, because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19)
The Lord Jesus cited this as the greatest commandment of all:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
Our obedience is the manifestation of our love. Obedience is the important thing all the way…

After I speak about the New Apostolic Reformation and its dangers, a question I’m often asked is, “Do you think there are any NAR churches where I live?”
Do you remember the song “Signs” by the Five Man Electrical Band? This popular tune made it all the way to number 3 on the Billboard charts during the summer and fall of 1971. The refrain concludes with the words, “Sign, sign, everywhere a sign, sign, sign, sign.”
Now that I have that song firmly ensconced in your mind, I will move on to a different type of sign that I see everywhere I look. These multiple signs point to the coming tribulation and the end of the age.
I believe there is something radically different about what we are now witnessing today in our world.
Many today ignore these signs believing that our day is no different than any other previous time in history. I beg to differ with this sentiment. I believe there is something radically different about what we are now witnessing today in our world.

Hope’s note: This is the Scripture that we read every Thanksgiving Day. It has been a family tradition for over 50 years. Although we realize that this passage of Scripture was written specifically to the Jewish people as they were about to enter the Promised Land, we, as Christians, cherish the Word of the Lord and take both the blessings and the warnings to heart.
All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers.
2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee…

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. …(Hebrews 11:8-10)
Every year about this time,(Late November) I ponder our Pilgrim forbearers, who left England for Holland and eventually for the “new World” in order to worship God in freedom and perhaps create a Christian colony in an unknown land.
These people were not professional soldiers, nor were they youthful adventurers, seeking to make a fortune. They were normal people, lower to middle class and with…
