Good vs. Evil

Hope’s note:  Once in a while we run into an article that speaks so deeply that we find ourselves reading it over and over.  This is one of those articles.

Serve Him in the Waiting

Who doesn’t love a nice “good versus evil” story?  Everyone can get behind the good guy in those kind of stories, because we relate to him.  We want to see good prevail.  The problem with the good vs. evil paradigm, is this; it’s a sham.  It is a sham because we think we know what good is, and we don’t.

Everywhere I look in my own life, among my own friends, Christians are struggling with strain in their marriages, with kids making bad choices, with discouragement and depression, with fears and stress.

The Bible says that no one is good.  That our righteousness is as filthy rags.  That one statement right there is sufficient to lay to rest any misguided notion that we “keep” our own salvation by our works and effort.  Even after we are saved, OUR “righteousness” is still nothing more than filthy rags.  God isn’t in the…

Demonic Divide

Terry James Prophecy Line

Dark, spiritual forces in high places are at work. There is no groundbreaking revelation in that statement regarding life in this nation and the world today. However, the true nature of the demonic delusion being foisted upon us is something even the most biblically mature among us will continue to miss─I’m convinced─if spiritual antennae aren’t properly attuned.

Additionally, it is time, like no other time before, to put on the whole armor as outlined by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12-18. Even more profound than the political insanity of the lunatic left that splits America, I perceive a most troubling schism developing amongst the brethren. I refer to those who watch –like the Lord commanded (Mark 13: 37) — end-times developments in what many believe are the closing hours of the Church Age.

Reports, leading up to this presidential election, came at us on an increasingly regular basis of behind-the-scenes…

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

UN “Together” Propaganda Bid Seeks to Flood West With Migrants

By the Blood of the Lamb

This is a very good article explaining the current paradigm we find ourselves in. I witnessed one of the tentacles of this operation two weeks ago at my church, arriving in the form of a Christian missionary who pushed this global togetherness under the guise of Christian love. I don’t know how many people swallowed his propaganda that Sunday, but I was sickened listening to him speak. He bent over backwards establishing how global his efforts have been, showing the congregation pictures of the various Muslim men he’d been working in concert with in order to help bring in these “immigrants.” He also blurred the lines and made many vague references to meetings these Christian missionaries had conducted with Imams, never stating that they had shared the gospel with them; but rather, met in order to conduct charitable business.

It all makes perfect sense to me: the deaf, dumb, and…

Truely abiding in Christ

Possessing the Treasure

by Mike Ratliff

1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2 and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. 1 John 2:1-6 (NASB)

Bashing the Brethren

Hope’s note: Guilty as charged! From time to time I’ve been guilty of bashing the brethren in my zeal to expose the rampant apostasy in today’s churches. A blogger friend recently reminded me that the Bible instructs us to “work out our own salvation”, not somebody else’s, and that sometimes we just need to step back a little. Thank you, Jordan, for this related article and needed reminder.

Jordan M. Holmes

I was recently speaking with a group of friends who are particularly zealous theology nerds. This is not a disparaging term, as I too would count myself amongst the ranks of the terminally theologically nerdy. (Case in point: that last sentence). Our conversation that night took a familiar turn; one which is for me, increasingly troubling.

As can often be expected in these types of discussions, what began as a friendly conversation concerning relevant theological issues, devolved into a bona fide bashing of the brethren. If you have ever been subjected to one of these theological conversations, you know from experience that no one is safe and humility is an afterthought. Side note: As a part time theologian, full time therapist, I am considering submitting a new diagnosis to the American Psychiatric Association. This unfortunate condition will be called the theological masochist. Tragically, itafflicts those for whom discussions of…

The Testimony of Mike Oppenheimer

I was brought up Jewish, went to Shabbat quite faithfully each Friday and celebrated the holydays at the temple and with my family up until about 16 years old. Our family like many others, gathered together on the high holy days in observance. I attended Hebrew school twice a week and learned the language and eventually was Bar Mitzvahed (at 13) and confirmed (at 16). While attending classes I asked a lot of questions about God that the Rabbi could not answer. Though I continued each year, mainly to please my parents, I became less interested in the traditional religion of my parents and feeling hindered in my spiritual development, leaped head first into my own brand of freestyle spirituality after graduation.

By my own search in reading and attending lectures and gatherings I got involved in the New Age Movement, became a vegetarian and for 15 years practiced yoga and meditation. I ended up using psychedelic drugs for a time (LSD, mescaline etc.), as part of my regular religious observances and smoking “pakalolo” (pot) became part of my normal lifestyle. During these times I also experimented with various religions and the occult. I felt they each contained some part of the truth of the one “true” religion, just as Rosicrucianism teaches all religions are petals on the same flower.

I studied about the Ancient Masters of the East, learning about Buddhism and Zen I picked up on a number of the practices…

Pope Francis Says That ‘Muslim Terrorism Does Not Exist’ But Asserts That Climate Change Is Real • Now The End Begins

by Geoffrey Grider

While denying the existence of Islamic terrorism, Pope Francis also seemed to condemn the denial of global warming and promoted Climate Change.

One of Satan’s Final Masquerades

by Sandy Simpson

Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

Satan often disguises himself with the purpose of deceiving people.  One way in which I believe he is putting on a masquerade is by appearing as “Mary” to millions of people worldwide.  Marian apparitions reportedly began as far back as the 4th century and even allegedly back to as early as 40 A.D. (  There were a reported 2160 Marian apparitions from the fourth century to the seventeenth century.

There have been another 458 apparitions in the twentieth century from 1900 to 2011 alone ( so the sightings have been increasing.  Each year one million people visit Medjugorje ( and “millions of pilgrims visit apparition sites annually” (

I am going to show in this document that the apparitions of “Mary” appearing all over the world are not Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, but likely of Satan himself.  Remember that the devil can appear as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14).  What better way to fool people than to show up masquerading as the beloved mother of Jesus Christ with a baby in her arms?

Following are some titles of Mary given by the Catholic and Coptic churches as well as quotes from the apparitions themselves.  Of note is the fact that this “Mary” is being called and is calling herself “the morning star”.

“In your free will, decide for God. Our Lady is our Mother and Morning Star, our guide. (Medjugorje visionary Marija, Your Life Will Be Full and Have Meaning, November 2, 2013,

As the Mother of Christ, Mary is the morning star announcing the rising of the Sun of Righteousness. Like the moon at the dawn of a new day, she is wholly bathed in the glory of the sun that is to come after her. Her beauty is a reflection of his. (from Catholic Update Guide to Mary,

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with you…
