Christians That Hurt Christianity

Hope’s note:  When Jesus admonished us to “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel”, He didn’t mean that we should take it upon ourselves to straighten out all of those hell-bound, Santa-Claus-believing, eight-year-old heathens!  Or those gawd-awful, lying parents!  See the fruit of this video?  It’s pretty rotten!  …and the rest of the Body of Christ will suffer for it.

Pastor yells at children waiting to see Santa inside Texas mall:

David Grisham, an Evangelist preacher, filmed himself shouting at children in Amarillo in Texas as they lined up at the mall to see Santa, telling them: ‘He’s just a man in a suit.’

This guy is NOT delivering the truth in love…he is obnoxious, and he is trying to be the Holy Spirit to the parents in line with their children. Those parents do not need this guy to convict them! His fruitless attempt to be the Holy Spirit only misrepresents the Lord Jesus. This is very sad indeed. He needs to check his heart. This was NOT loving, in any way. What an embarrassment to the body of Christ!

    • This was one of those “what was he thinking” things. I hope that he will learn from it. The public must have lashed out big-time today… I noticed that his Facebook account has been deleted.

  2. We do not “do” Santa. I’ve been very open and honest about this from the beginning. Now that my son is in public kindergarten, I’ve told him repeatedly NOT to tell the other kids about Santa. I feel conflicted about this, but since I know he actually witnesses to kids about Jesus (I’ve seen it whoo hoo), he just doesn’t say anything at all about Santa. No point in causing fights and hurt feelings.

  3. Love the “witnessing about Jesus” part! How cool is THAT??? And in kindergarten! 😁

Hope, This reminds me of the tactics of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church.

Couldn’t agree with you more. Makes you wonder how some people’s minds equate this with love, especially for children. This is an area that the parents are responsible for and again, to be dealt with (if deemed necessary) in love, in the privacy of their own home.
